I edited it using Picnik.
Step #1
I used the blemish remover to remove the scratch on her forehead. (I do this on my kids too.)
Step #2
I changed to a sepia tone, using a dark cream color.
Step #3
I added a vignette around the edges. I adjusted so it wasn't so sharp and overpowering.
Step #4
I sharpened it a tad to bring out her eyes.

It's so neat that a couple quick fixes makes such a cool photo! I like the sepia tone you used!
I obviously know very little about editing photos. I liked your first one and really liked the second one. Good job.
