A sad tale of woe...

Ok, well that was a little dramatic.

But, I've been dramatic lately, why change now?

Whoever said "Change is a good thing"....they obviously never moved 10 times in 10 1/2 years.

But that's not what this post is about. Please, keep reading:)

This is a beautiful baby blanket that I've been knitting on and off for like the last 4 months or so.

It's for a baby that is due in November.

I made a "push" last week to get it done. I got about 3/4 of the way done that fateful night.

Until my ball of yarn ran out.

I had more, don't worry. That's not the sad part.

So, like I was saying before I rudely interrupted myself, I got 3/4 of the way done.

Really I only had about 4 more inches left, so maybe I was further than 3/4.

Anyways, I laid it out to examine my beautiful workmanship, and see how much more I had left to do.

Isn't it pretty?!

That's when I saw it.

IT.

It, was a dropped stitch wayyyy back about 1/4 of the way into the blanket.

I sat, jaw dropped, for like 20 mins trying to figure out how I could fix it without ripping it all out.

Sadly I frogged the whole thing.

I was not knitting that whole thing again.

Instead I'm crocheting it, since I am much faster at crocheting.

Here's the pattern from Posy gets Cozy that I chose to do if you want to take a peek.

I'm already about 1/4 of the way done with the main part.

I'll keep you posted on the whole sad, twisted tale.....

OH Man! I've done that!

Depending on the circumstances, you can fix that sort of thing...

You may have gotten too far for fixing it though...

Thanks Almerry. I knew you'd empathize with me:)

For those of you not familiar with knitting, if you drop a stitch and leave it, it will come unraveled.

Kindof like I was when I realized what I had done....
